Synchronous Snoozing - Catolympics
The Island Cats are hosting the Synchronized Snoozing competition of the Catolympics. Although I don't think these photos qualify because my brother Rusty went to the Rainbow Bridge several years ago, he is the only other cat I have ever snoozed with, so I decided I would take this opportunity to show you these pictures of us snoozing together. Sometimes I miss you, Rusty Boy. I bet you spend all day hunting chipmunks and exploring at the Rainbow Bridge.
You may notice that in each of these two pictures, taken on different occasions, we are on my favorite Messy Blanket. Rusty loved it too. However, you will also see that I was barely on the edge of the blanket. Rusty was definitely the boss - I had to scrounge what I could in terms of blanket space.
Oh, and Rusty and I were completely unrelated cats, obtained by my family 10 years apart. He had short fur, vs my long floof.

Two VERY handsome mancats. Nothing wrong with that snoozing together-thing!!ReplyDelete
I think you two do a fine job of the synchronized napping.ReplyDelete
You guys are so perfectly coordinated, even to your fur color! RIP Rusty.ReplyDelete
You boys have got the snoozing purrfected! It's ok to enter a special brother who has gone to the Bridge. I'm sure of it.ReplyDelete
I give you guys a 10!ReplyDelete
Aw...you look so sweet with your brother Rusty.ReplyDelete
This is an excellent entry, Simba! Of course, you can enter with your brother Rusty! We think he was a handsome mancat and he sure knew how to snooze!!ReplyDelete
Thanks for entering!!
You and your brofur Rusty are certainly going for the Gold! He was a very handsome Mancat!ReplyDelete
Oh those are pawsome pics! I think your still in the running, and thanks for playing.ReplyDelete
Love the pics.ReplyDelete
I have no one to do synchronized snoozing with, except my Mommy (when she doesn't abandon me for "work").
But maybe I could enter in the eating contest, if there is one.
Rusty sure had some great snooze moves!ReplyDelete
Simba, looks like you didn't mind your brofur Rusty hogging all the blanket.ReplyDelete
Rusty was one handsome mancat! We love the picture of him snoozing on his back. I bet the Island Cats will still count your entry even though Rusty is at the bridge. You really do love your messy blanket, don't you Simba?ReplyDelete
Great pictures and we wish you luck with your entries.ReplyDelete
Of course Rusty can enter. We think so, anyway.ReplyDelete
Ha! Again I SO understand what you say about those shorthaired siblings. They are quite the bossy ones! It was nice seeing you with your brofur.ReplyDelete
P.S.: Thank you for telling us where our mom went to. She had SOME explaining to do.
