Wildlife on Our Deck

We have had a medium amount of snow this winter - nothing like New England, but enough so that it really doesn't melt much between storms.     When Dad clears our snow, he also clears a path around the perimeter of the deck.    So we have this quite big hill of snow in the middle of the deck.  This is what it looks like from our family room door, where I like to sit and watch the birdies (Dad also throws some seed on the snow there, as well as keeping the bird feeders filled.)   That is our patio table on its side so it doesn't break from the weight of snow on top of it.

Here is a closer-up picture of three of the little birds getting their seed.

Mr Squirrel came to realize there was something edible there that he could get to as well:

We have even had some pretty cardinals eating from the scattered seed but could not get a picture.    But here you can see one at the feeder.

Few Words Wednesday

If Messy blankie is not down on the couch, then I will lie right on top of your navy blue sweater, Mom.  Making it nice and furred with ginger fur.

Sunday Snowy Selfie

No, *I* am not in the snow.   But we do have fresh snow here.   Dad is preparing to go out and shovel it.

I am joining the Sunday Selfie Blog Hop hosted by the Kitties Blue at The Cat on My Head.

Mardi Gras

Mom had some real Mardi Gras masks and she made me take a picture with one of them.     Not very good mask-holding skills, Mom.     Sheesh.

Another Sunday, Another Selfie

Fooled you , didn't I?

This is Lucy, my human sister's kitty.     My Mom took this selfie for her while they were doing FaceTime on the computer.    Lucy is a petite fluffy tabby girl, so excepting for the fact that I am orinj and not petite, we have quite a lot in common.

We are joining the Kitties Blue over at The Cat on My Head for Sunday Selfies today.

PhotoHunt - Plaid

When Mom saw the theme for today's PhotoHunt was PLAID, she said we HAD to do a post.   After all, a large percentage of my photos all fit with the theme.   Our old comfy couch in the family room, and its matching chair, are both plaid, and that is where I mostly like to lie.      Whenever Mom puts a picture up of me on the couch, she feels a bit embarrassed at its condition.   See the way the stripes on the back cushions are curvy?    That is because those cushions are saggy.    But for now, it is too comfy to get rid of.
