PhotoHunt - Miniature

Dad gave Mom this sweet Lladro kitty for their last anniversary. She has quite a few pretty Lladro porcelain figurines. I think they should have made the furs ginger color when they did it, but Mom tells me that the colors of the figurines tend to be subdued hues of grays and blues and pastel flowers, not orange. Oh, well. Maybe they need to start a new line to be more representative of reality - black, calico, ginger, tabby striped........ I bet there would be quite a market for them.

  1. That's so lovely, though, even though not ginger! :-)

  5. It is very delicate and lovely...are you allowed anywhere near it Simba? Casper knocks everything onto the ground to play with so I have very few figurines in the house!

I agree ginger would be better :-)

  6. It is beautiful.....but we vote for a new line, too, Simba....and Andy says they should include a "cow kitty".

Have a beautiful day sweet friend.

  7. Cat: I don't tend to push much stuff off tables etc, Mom says I am the first kitty she has had who doesn't push stuff off the dresser and nightstands when I want my humans to get up. But all the same, all the Lladros and other very precious breakables are in the living room that has french doors on it. I only go in there with supervision once in a while. Another reason for that is that then my folks can have guests over who are cat allergic. The rest of the house is a fur and dander fest!

  8. I love Lladro. If I remember right, Nao, Lladro's competition, makes red kitties.

Mummy also says you should check out "Sherratt and Simpson". They make lovely kitties in all different colours xx

  11. Oh, I am glad my human didn't think of her miniature cat figurine collection when this theme came up! She has like a billion of them. I don't know where they are - that is probably why they are still all in one piece.

  18. That is a lovely figurine. I am thinking that you could alter the looks of this if you need to change the color. There are things called spray pain in a can. You could get someone to help you. Make sure not to get any on your fur if you go ahead with this project because then the folks will know that you have a paw in this. Warning: you will get in trouble if you are caught.
