What am I looking at, you ask? It is this sweet young couple in our yard about a week ago. You may recall my post about the male turkey and his attempts to get the attention of the group of female turkeys. Well, it looks as if things worked out for two of them.
Now we no longer see the male, but there is a lone female in our yard quite a lot - she comes for seed scattered from the bird feeder and for water in our bird bath, and Dad thinks she must have a nest nearby. Apparently they have 10-20 babies at a time! That will be one busy Momma!
