Have a great weekend, friends!    I am glad to be a cat and not have to deal with "seasonal allergies"!  Mom says as soon as things start to look pretty, she starts to sneeze.   Can cats be allergic to people like people can be allergic to cats?   It is too much work to have to think about things like that.  I think I will take a nap on my checkered blankie.  

Some Words Wednesday

This is what I think of the perpetrators of the bombings in Boston:

I am saying some pretty strong HBO words.    

Purrs for those who were killed or injured, and for their families.      We all hope that those responsible will soon be identified.

Saturday Snuggles

Audrey here, friends.  I am doing OK.   My vet had to increase my dosage of methimazole because my T4 levels were still elevated when checked 10 days ago (13, down from 23.  Goal is below 4).   The higher dose means for the first time I don't actually clean my food bowl instantly when I eat.   That is good because I sure was eating a lot of food for a kitty my size.  

 I do seem to be more subdued.   My humans have some concern that I am starting to scratch at my face  between my eyes and ears more, and they are monitoring that.  

Here I enjoy a little snuggle while websurfing with my Dad.

Rest in Peace, Austin

Another one of Karen Jo's kitties, Austin, has run off very unexpectedly to the Rainbow Bridge.     He was still very young, and something happened to him after a totally normal and good day.  Please go and leave her and Austin's furry siblings some purrs.  Here is the link to their blog.

My Grass Box

Here are two more pictures about my grass box.  This is from several years ago - I used to like to escape form the deck and chew on the grass in the yard, so Dad planted me my own box of fresh, young grass.   It wasn't CAT grass, but I am going to ask him to plant us a box of cat grass this spring.

And, Spitty, I never did pee in it!   But  it was very comfy to nap in.
