Whiffing the FRESH air!    

Also, Mom was treated by a different physical therapist yesterday who used a FRESH approach and did a couple of new manipulations with Mom's neck and with her arm ("nerve gliding").    Mom thinks that did something to help improve the pinched nerve a little more.    She still has tingling in her arm and hand, but it is a "lighter" tingle than before.   So a bit of progress.   Once she finally gets rid of this problem we hope to be commenting more on our friends' blogs.  Thanks for not forgetting us!!!

Thursday on the Deck

The deck is really our version of the garden.  We had a serious cold snap so it is good Dad had not yet put out any plants there.   But soon there will be some, we are sure.

When we are in we ask to go out, but as you can see, when we are out, if there is any chance of a meal or snack, we ask to come in!  This was at (our perceived)  dinner time yesterday.

Thursday in the Garden

Kitties, it has really been wild here at our house!    We had a lot of damage done to our trees last October with the freaky snowstorm, and also all the trees have been in need of trimming and pruning anyway.  Mom and Dad also wanted to get limbs near the house trimmed back. But it was not till this week that then men could come to do the work.     They actually drove their truck with the bucket extension on it into our back yard and left it parked there overnight!!       Here is a picture of the truck parked in our yard (they used special mats so as to minimize the damage to the lawn though it did get somewhat chewed up in places):

and one of them using it to get to the high branches: the other truck with the wood chipper is parked in front on the driveway:

We were very interested in everything, and the weather was warm on Tuesday, so after they left we got to be out on the deck again.   But it was also close to dinner time, so finally we asked very definitely to go in to eat!

Mostly Wordless Wednesday with Bof of Us

(that's one of those huge leaf bags - Dad was cleaning up sticks and such so Audrey decided to help).

Spring is Sprung

We wanted to post a couple of new pictures on the deck.   As has been the case with many in the eastern part of the US, our weather has turned warm, and Dad has had us on the deck over the past couple of days.     We both really LOVE it!

Yesterday we had a tree trimming crew here and we were excited to watch them.    They will be back today too: in fact they left one of their trucks with the bucket thing on it parked in our back yard!!!    
Mom's pinched nerve seems to be responding to the therapy, she is in less pain, and even added some exercises to what she was doing yesterday.  She goes 3 times per week.    Computer still is uncomfortable, though.    Kitties, tell your humans that activities where they bend forward over their computer or iPad or cellphone are NOT GOOD for their necks!

World Cancer Day

Along with so many others we are purring and praying today, We remember loved ones who were lost to cancer, celebrate those who are survivors,  and pray for those who are suffering with it today.
