We have had a medium amount of snow this winter - nothing like New England, but enough so that it really doesn't melt much between storms. When Dad clears our snow, he also clears a path around the perimeter of the deck. So we have this quite big hill of snow in the middle of the deck. This is what it looks like from our family room door, where I like to sit and watch the birdies (Dad also throws some seed on the snow there, as well as keeping the bird feeders filled.) That is our patio table on its side so it doesn't break from the weight of snow on top of it.

We have even had some pretty cardinals eating from the scattered seed but could not get a picture. But here you can see one at the feeder.
