Supervising

It was a big weekend of clearing leaves here. Dad said he thinks this year there were more leaves than ever before. Also, this year we seem to have had a record acorn crop. Mostly I watched through the windows or napped and ignored it all, but I did get a couple of chances to be outside checking out the leaf piles and supervising the goings on. While they were supervising me too, of course!

You can see I said "no thanks" to wearing the harness.

  4. Simba, you make a good supervisor. We wonder if all the leaves and acorns mean it will be a colder than usual Winter?

  6. Chey: I did leap in a line of leaves to try to get over it, and I went in so deep I leapt backwards out of it! It was a little freaky. I ended up running back to the deck without being told to.

  7. Those leaves provide a great camouflage for you...I hope you don't get lost. Leaves are a lot of fun because they fly around unpredictably and they make cool noises together.

  9. I've got a huge hickory nut crop in my front yard. The evil squirrels are driving us crazy trying to carry them across our roof.
