My Dad uses this big piece of burlap as a drop cloth when he clears the leaves in our yard. Here I have discovered the drop cloth and am giving it a very thorough going over with my nose. It seems I can tell the entire history of every leaf that was ever on it! And that is at least a squillion leaves.
Simba,
ReplyDeleteJust be careful... remember, your beautiful fur coat is strikingly similar in color to all those fallen leaves. There's going to be a point where you DO NOT want to be inside that burlap drop cloth!

I don't think that's the worst of the problems. Getting a prickly thing tangled up in that sweet fur and having to go to the groomers to get it cut out could be! That'd be a travesty to have to cut that fur!
ReplyDeleteMust have had wonderful smells on it.

That must be the most wonderpurr smelling burlap drop cloth ever! Glad you got to go outside for a bit, Simba. I notice you are not wearing your harness. I am like you, when they put that thing on me I just fall over.

I think that must be a fascinating drop cloth! How lucky you were to get to go out and smell on your deck!
ReplyDeleteJust make sure they don't pick you up in the bag and throw you out with the leaves.
ReplyDeleteHmm, mummy is thinking she could use that bag to scoop you up and bring you here!!
ReplyDeleteMmmmm! That drop cloth must smell awesome!
ReplyDeleteIt must be a very special drop cloth!
ReplyDeleteWowww....
