We had about 10-12 inches of new snow between yesterday and this morning. Everything is freshly covered in white fluffy stuff. The snow is deep on the deck because Dad had only party cleared it after that last round of snow. He throws seed out under the table and chairs for the birds, and we saw this squirrel digging furiously in the snow for some of it.
Dad opened the kitchen window for me and I looked out for a bit, but it was rather boring.
Then they opened the sliding door: you can see how high the snow was: even over the height of the door!
I asked Mom to put me out in the snow so I could test it out and tell you about it (if you believe that is how it went, I have a Bridge to sell you). I paused in the one spot, feeling myself sinking into the snow, twisted around and leapt back into the house!
Oh wow! That looks really deep on your toesies! Stay warm Simba!
ReplyDeleteOMC, 10 - 12 INCHES of snow! Not centimetres? That's a lot of snow! Indoors definitely is better, Simba!
