Manly Lion Monday - My Pride Rock

On Saturday morning Mom cleared the paper clutter off the dining room table and put a clean tablecloth on it. Within a short time, I was lying on the table. I can survey various parts of the house from there, and consider it my Pride Rock ( since I am named for Simba, of The Lion King fame.). There was also quite a nice bit of sunspot on there that morning.

Now be honest, cats, how many of you climb on the dining room table?

  5. Hi Simba....Madi is a dining room table kitty too and proud of it....we must admit that she often sits over to the side during meals too but only because she has very good table manners. You look very nice and stately there in the sun my friend.

  7. We're not allowed on the dining room table, but that room's blinds are rarely opened anyways. We get the beans to open the living room blinds when the sunbeams come in though often enough. Heck I even got the other bean (not our beans just the one they call the roommate whatever that means) catering to me!

  8. Hee hee, well we both like to get on the dining room table, especially when it's all set for dinner! It's so much more interesting when they are about to put food on it! xoxo

  13. I've tried the dining room table, like any good cat would. But it's against the rules here. Glogirly is really sneaky too. She has a glass table and can see my paw prints whenever I've been up on it. If she'd just clean it once in a while, maybe I could get away with it. ; )
