So many kitties are publishing pictures or videos of themselves when they were kittens, in honor of Fin and her Mom's birthday. Since I was already about 18 months old when I came to live with my Mom and Dad, they do not have any kitten pictures of me. However, I present this kitten picture of Belle, who came before me and also went to the Rainbow Bridge before I arrived here. Her kitten ears are quite frootbattish! She was a girl after my own heart in the way she would lie on the computer (My Mom's current computer is too skinny to lie ON, so I lie between it and the keyboard). She also loved to lie on the back of the couch cushions. Here she was a grown cat:
Belle knew Rusty, and I knew Rusty, so I guess in a way I knew her too.
Can you guess when the picture with Belle lying on the computer was taken?
Hello, Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI guess the photo was taken on 1990's..
Am I right?
Happy New Year! That is an Apple IIe and it was around in the late 80s, I believe. My mom remembers working on one of those.
ReplyDeleteThat picture must be from the ancient times.
ReplyDeleteOur humans haven't got any baby-pics of us either. We we're 1½ when we got them.
Happy New Year!
We would say early '80s for the computer.
ReplyDeleteWishing you all the very best for 2010!
Ah how pretty Belle was, what a sweetie. Thanks for playing (I'm a ladycat - I know it's confusing since I have a boy-sounding name ::rolls eyes at Mom::). Happy New Year to you!
ReplyDeleteShe was a lovely cat. Purrs.
ReplyDeleteIt's us again, Simba! Right o nall counts. It is the Year of the Tiger ("Tora-Doshi" as they say over there) already in Japan. The Chinese, however, will not inaugurate the Tiger until the Lunar New Year on February 14.
ReplyDeleteI "heart" my Auntie Belle, not least because she was rather...voluptuous... like yours truly. Ahem.
ReplyDeleteThat picture musta been taken a long time ago...cuz that's an old computer! Belle was adorable!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!!
The picture has to be from the 1980's, I'm just sure of it because...that's what my mom says...not that I know anything about old computers!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
I'd say the early 90's. She was a doll.
ReplyDeletecindy
Happy New Year to you all!!!
ReplyDeleteWow... that Apple looks almost pre-Macintosh! Must be shortly before 1984. !!!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!

Katie
