We didn't stay like this for long, we have to admit, but we did really lie down next to each other. The nip banana is a favorite toy for both of us: Audrey is more of a toy playing cat that I am, and she gives it real workout with lots of kicks. My humans bought an Ess for her to try out and she can give it a real workout. She also has a cardboard scratcher that she enjoys clawing to bits. I watch her and the other day went up to the cardboard scratcher and gave it a try, which is a bit funny, seeing as I don't have my front claws. But I still have some of that instinct to scratch at things, and I am very interested in what Audrey does.
Awwww, don't you look so cute together. The banana looks great fun and I can imagine how you both like to play with it. I got a lovely scratching post when I first arrived. Mummy caught Simba having a scratch on it and he looked all embaressed hee he :)

ReplyDeleteA kitty who came without claws like you used to live here. We had (still have!) a nice tall sisal scratching post and Abigail raked at it just like everybody else. We always said she liked foot massages but you're probably right that it's instinct. :-)
