Easy Sunday

In the early evening, it is especially nice on my deck. The sunny patches are very filtered which I like, because I don't like the bright sun. Often Mom and Dad have an old towel down for me to lie on to soften the floorboards for me. Life can't get much better!

The answer to yesterday's picture is the statue at Rockefeller Center in New York City. Cat got it right! As she says, at Christmastime, that is where the big Christmas tree is, and the floor below the statue is frozen for ice-skating. It is a well-known landmark. During the Spring, my folks went there for lunch before going to a Broadway Show, at the "Rock Center Cafe". They said it was kindof interesting/weird to be where the ice rink usually is. I chose that picture because it was the most Public place we had a picture of.

Congratulations Cat for being the first (only?) one to recognize it. Sweet Praline was quite warm in suggesting the United Nations - right City! I enjoyed the snowboarder/skateboarder/cheeseburger ideas! Rumbles and Inigo, yes, your Daddy WILL be there!!! Here's another view of the "skateboarder" from a different angle:
The umbrellas in the foreground offer shade to the people eating there.

  7. I figured New York, so at least I was in the right city. That's much closer than I usually get with trying to find Chey.

  13. PS Simba, I have contracts with publishers so services like Lulu are out for me. In general though, US companies don't work with Asian companies. I attended a talk in Singapore last year and the US distribution people didn't even want to consider working together. They said there wasn't enough money in it :-(

  15. Hi Simba, we had fun playing your game! I've only been to Rockafeller Centre in the winter. How nice it must be to sit under the umbrellas and have a meal in the summer :-)
