Before my human brother's wedding, my folks spent a little time in the Smoky Mountains. They didn't go on this trail, though!They can tell you a story about a shelter and a bear from an overnight hiking trip in the Smokies a squillion years ago, ........... if you are willing to believe them.

ReplyDeleteWhoa! It's a good thing they did not go on that trail! This makes me glad I am an indoor-only kitty. I have yet to see any aggressive bears in here.

ReplyDeleteOh running into a bear would not be good!! Our mom spent some time in the Smokies a squillion years ago too...she said it was really beautiful!!

ReplyDeleteWe are avid hikers in this family, we've done trips to hike in Utah and Hawaii but I'm thinking a trip to the southeast may be in order :-) But we would definitely like to avoid the bears!
My mommy lives just a few miles from there.
