So today we have snow - our first real snow of the season, not counting that ridiculous storm in October that ruined so many trees. About 2-3 inches. It has been a good day to stay inside for the humans, and for us to catch up on eating and napping.
This is an interesting shot of how the snow looks on the deck - it has formed a pattern where some fell or melted through the spaces between the diagonal boards.
The snow always seems to attract more birds to the bird feeder, especially the male cardinals:
Audrey demonstrates the good passed out napping technique - also quite appropriate for today's PhotoHunt theme of Bliss.
You guys are so lucky you get to see those tasty male cardinals - I guess we don't get them here because I have never seen one! I suppose the snowy days are the price you have to pay for that.
ReplyDeleteThe Cardinals are very pretty. Audrey looks very relaxed.

ReplyDeleteWe are getting worried here because mom has been sick and that means no photos taken...and we are purring she feels better so she can get a Monday post together. We are all taking turns purring on her. At least she can help us visit sporadically.

ReplyDeleteThe male cardinals are gorgeous, aren't they? I've never seen any here in WA, but I always loved watching them when I lived in NY.
We just had the wet stuff today; not the white stuff.
