Thursday in OUR Garden

Kitties, the Nor'Easter was OK for us.     The roads were rather sloppy yesterday afternoon but Mom got herself home from work as early as possible and the humans hunkered down.   There was a lot less wind than they had thought at our house, and so in the end it was a nice little snowstorm for us.   We probably got about 3-4 inches. Things are already warming up and melting here.

Being in such good shape, we still are purring for all those humans and animals for whom this storm was just the last straw on top of evil Sandy.  Fortunately the temperatures are warming up the next few days.   We hope that helps them out and that power can be restored to all those who are still without it.

  1. So glad the storm wasn't too icky for you. We had rain here last night and a teeny tiny bit of wet snow. Peep wouldn't even have noticed it 'cept that when she got into her car after caterwauling practice, and turned on the windshield wiper thingies, there was some slushy stuff there. Until then, she had thought it was just rain! Guess winter will be coming soon enough though. purrs

  3. The snow looks pretty in that photo. Glad you didn't get hit too hard.

Weather sure is strange. It was about 85 or so here yesterday...just 15 miles from the ocean on west coast of California. Then, a cool night with some rain.
