Two on Tuesday

I, Simba, was there first, watching a dove, then Audrey came by and joined me.  Note the slightly flattened ears on us both.     Shortly after that the dove took off.     Either because I blamed her for the dove leaving, or because I first became aware that she was there, I gave her a good bop to the head and chased her off!!

  2. that's only as it should be, Simba. Audrey, ask Simba if you may join him. it's the polite thing to do.

  3. And the picture was so beautiful - shame about the head bop. But maybe she has to learn you are the boss cat (even though as a girlcat she might try to be!). Good luck with the continuing power struggles, hehehe.

  4. You do look very sweet peeping out together though. I'm sure Audrey will learn "quiet" birdy watching soon :)xx

  5. I'm sure you will help her to finesse the finer points of bird watching Simba :-)

  7. Simba, I would not tolerate such a disturbance in my hunting routine either! You two are such a cute pair sitting there.

  8. That's a great picture of you two... Then we hear about the reality and the bopping... It's always good to know there is a balance.

  9. LOL! Chumley used to bop Annie on the head too -- it was funny. Simba, we bet your mom laughed when she saw you do that to Audrey. :-)

  10. I suspect that whapping might happen for a while yet, just don't bop her to hard!

  12. Or maybe just because you if you couldn't have a dove you could bop her!

  13. A little, um, "discipline" never hurt anyone. You have to show her who's boss around Casa Simba! But you do look super compatible there.

  19. Well, at least you shared a moment...as short as it may have been.

  20. Simba, seems like you'll have to teach Audrey some of your Agent 007 moves so she doesn't scare off the birdies any more!

  22. That is a very sweet picture! Too bad about the head bobbing, but at least you two bonded a bit over watching the bird. That happens sometimes here too.
