Spitty's Awardie

A couple of days ago, King Spitty graced me with the Creative blogger award.      Thank you very much for that honor, Spitty.

Here is the lovely graphic that goes with the award:

I am supposed to tell you three things about myself, so here goes:

1)   My Mom is experimenting with feeding me my wet food on a plate, rather than in a bowl.     She thinks I eat more that way.   Dad always gives me my food in a bowl, so it is a constant competition/battle between them.    I guess I also told you something about my humans in #1

2)  I have two cat beds in the basement, on the wide basement window ledge.   before Audrey flew off to the Rainbow Bridge, I hardly ever slept in a bed, and if so only if it was in the dining room.    But after she left, I started to nap in one of them - it is the smaller of the two beds and I have to really squeeze myself in a tight circle to fit in it.    Because the bed is black, it is now covered in ginger furs.

3)  The other day, Mom had a ziplock bag with a whole lot of my toys marinating in catnip in it.    The zipper part was open.  Somehow in the time it took for her to go to the kitchen and make a cup of tea, I managed to get every single toy out of the bag and spread them all over the room.     The bag was still pretty much in the same place as before.     Mom has no idea how I did it.

Now I must nominate three blogging friends to receive this award.      So many friends are creative, it is a hard choice.     I hope I am not duplicating, if you have received the award already.

  8. Concats on the blog and how creatively you answered the questions. TW was looking at plates for cats in PetSmart yesterday but she thinks I’m be too sloppy. Can you imagine that?

    1. My humans just use Corelle white plates and bowls for me. My sloppiness is the same, whether a bowl or a plate.

  11. A big congrats on your nice award. Interesting about eating off a plate instead a bowl. Some of us would push the food right off the plate. Anyway, it was fun hearing more about you Simba. You all have a great week end.

  13. Your mum marinates your toys in bags of nip? Ever lucky! You must have THE BEST mum in the world!!! I am so gonna mention this to the peep. You mind if she asks your mum for any pointers?

And thanks so very much for the lovely award! I do love awards and this one is a beauty, for sure.

  15. Whoa--marinated toys???? My Human did that one time YEARS ago when MomKat Trish sent us some Valerian--but I think she needs to start doing it again.

You know what? The Human said she has read that kitties like plates (or very shallow bowls) because we don't like our whiskers bumping up over and over against the side of a bowl. I dunno. But she feeds me on plates now.
