OK, guys, Mom's excuse wasn't very good was it? Here we are last June, relaxing on the deck. Just what we want to do today, but it is thunderstormy. As it will be for several more days, and we also had rain last weekend and Monday.
But some rain is so easy to contend with compared to the poor people and animals in Oklahoma who went through that awful tornado. We are purring very very hard for them.
11 months ago we were probably waiting for lunch - nothing new.
Thunderstorms can be scary and dangerous too. We had a freaking DOOZY last night, the likes of which we've not seen in a long, long time. We weren't phased (truly), but our human was upset!
ReplyDeleteBut you're right, nothing compared to the terrible destruction of the tornado.

ReplyDeleteOK is always in our thoughts these days and we're sending purrs to everybuddy there.
I have been purring with mommy for the people and Anipals in OK. That was so tragic.
ReplyDeleteWe're purring for all those affected by the bad storms...'specially the animals that are lost...we hope they are reunited with their families soon.
ReplyDeleteHi sweet furiends, You look furry pensive there. I think it was prolly cause your Humans were late with your lunches!! I'm happy to see you even if it is last year's picture ;-)
ReplyDeleteWe have been purring for the humans and critters in Oklahoma all week - there was so much devastation!
ReplyDeleteWell I hope you've gotten fed since then...
ReplyDeleteWe've been having odd weather too, including the occasional hail shower!
ReplyDeletePurrs,
The Chans
Well we have sure had tons of rain last week but things are getting better. We are purring so hard for everyone in OK too.
ReplyDeleteUs too! We're s'posed to have thunderstormies all weekend long *sigh*
ReplyDeleteOh for the days of long naps in sun puddles...
Hpefully we might get some sunny weather this week. Last week was a washout.
ReplyDeleteWe are also purring for Animals at Oklahoma, hope their peace comfy moment will come soon.
ReplyDeleteWe are sending purrs to all the Humans and animals that need them--I hope most have found one another again. That was awful skeery and we are purraying for those who lost family or friends or animals or their homes. XOXOXO
