This picture was taken on Thursday, the first full day of Spring. The night before we had some snow, not a lot, but enough to cover the surfaces. Looks like groundhogs are not very reliable.
Stay warm, all our furry friends. With all the sadnesses of sick kitties and friends and other kitties we didn't know as well gone running off to the Rainbow Bridge, we hope a new week will bring better news.
Audrey seems to doing okay so far on her thyroid medicine. She is a little less hyper and her coat looks better. Mom thinks she may have picked up some weight - hard to tell with a people scale that is only + - 1/2 pound. She has not yet discovered there is a pill hidden in her pill pockets.
Thanks so much for your note today about Lucy. I really appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteSimba, keep warm! Our Simba is keeping a bit warmer here in Texas weather. I didn't know Audrey has hyper-t. Lucy had that as well and was very well maintained on her twice-a-day pills. She also took it in a pill pocket or even in her canned food.
Brrrrrrrrrr! Keep those paws warm! I am sure glad Audrey is doing good with her meds and we all send her purrs.
ReplyDeleteI am glad to know that Audrey is doing better! Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteSimba, we wanna get our paws on that gopher! He was SO wrong!!
ReplyDeleteWe're glad to hear Audrey is doing better. We continue to purr for her.
Oh I do hope Audrey continues to take her medication. It's so good to hear she's doing a little better on it too., ha ha - we had the same white stuff on the first day of spring. I say get a new groundhog! Or maybe send him back to school because apparently he didn't learn the subject of weather very well.
ReplyDeleteYou stay warm too! And we are glad that Audrey is doing okay with her meds!
ReplyDeleteWe are glad to hear that Audrey doesn't know there's any pill in there. Jewel figured it out ages ago, and now she won't eat them!
ReplyDeleteWe hope you are staying warm over there!!
This weather is really not acceptable, is it? We have had nothing but rain and really cold temps. Yuk!
ReplyDeleteGlad Audrey is taking her meds like a good girl.
Purrs,
The chans
Admiral DID discover it eventually. She "opened" the pill pocket and dropped the pill off to one side. I waited several hours after picking up the pill and reinserted it into another pocket and casually left it in front of her in the living room instead of the litchen.
ReplyDeleteHas Audrey had another blood test to see where she's at?
XXOO
The weather seems to have gone stir crazy - have the weather suppliers forgotten it should be Spring - we've got snow too and more forecast all over the weekend. Keep warm.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
I love the floofy tip of your floofy tail!
ReplyDeleteIt's great to hear that Audrey is doing well on her meds!
we sure hope the same!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that Audrey hasn't discovered the pill yet. That is great. Thanks again for all your wonderful purrs etc. Take care.

ReplyDeleteMuch love to Audrey--what a good girl! We hope she never finds out there's anything lurking in her treat ;-) But even if she does, they're prolly so delicious she won't be able to help herself from gobbling it down anyway!
ReplyDeleteYou are looking especially lovely and floofy today, Simba!
Oh my cat - you too??? We just got 9 inches of snow overnight with more to come for Monday. EEEK!
ReplyDelete(we're so very glad the meds are working for Audrey and more importantly, that she hasn't discovered the pill yet! )
Your peeps trick you with those pill pockets, too, huh? Have to say... they do work. I won't tell Audrey. Promise! purrs
ReplyDeleteI have snow layin' out there now. They SAY "snow showers" and I hope that's all there is. Last night the wind blew as though there was a hurricane out there! With all mommy;s TALL trees, it's always a nightmare when that wind blows like that.
ReplyDeletexox You two stay inside on your blankies.
Hey, You need to nudge the Peeps with the Thumbs, Simba! We need another Floofy Simba shot and an Audrey repurrt! XOXOXOXO
ReplyDeleteI agree with Spitty!
