Why?

Thank you Gracie for providing us with this Graphic as a way to give some expression to our shock and sadness.

Some of our kitty friends have been far more eloquent that we could be, so we are not going to try to put many words here.    Please read some of our friends' posts here:

My human siblings went to a school like Sandy Hook elementary with just children in grades K-3 at the school.    How unthinkable that somebody could go there and shoot innocent little children.

Don't feel a need to comment, friends.    We know there is really nothing that can be said.

  1. I can't help but comment because everyone here has been so saddened by this tragedy. A friend of ours, Robin from the Covered in Cat Hair Blog, actually lives in Newtown, and it has been horrible for her. It's so hard to cope with something so senseless and awful.

  2. An ocean away, where we are, we look up this, once again with dismay, and with utter fury at the way in which gun crime is rampant in your country. Why indeed? Wy can so many people walk around with guns?

  3. Sad is right, and I don't see it getting better anytime soon until the humans of this country address the issue!

  7. We can't even begin to understand why or how those affected are feeling but our hearts go out to each of them.

  8. It's so sad. All so very, very sad. Why stuff like this happens is just beyond me.

  9. I agree with Mario. Blood is on the hands of all the lawmakers who refuse to pass gun control laws. How many more tragedies must we have? How many more lives lost?
