Since the humans had all the tree trimming done during the spring, the deck gets quite a lot more sun, which is both good and bad. The impatiens plants in the window boxes have had a harder time this year, because they really thrive in a more shady environment. But here you can see us wanting to come in for our lunch, and the sun on our furs.
The beauty of the internets is that Mom can PRETEND for us that it is sunny today, but actually she checked the weather forecast and we are expecting some thunderstorms. Where she is, the weather has been so beastly hot nobody has spent any time outside, which is sad not to be able to take the baby for nice walkies.
You two look gorgeous out there in the sun and your furs are vibrant. I wish my deck was as peaceful as yous. I have trubbles.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the baby, Grandma-- xox
It's been a very HOT summer for us too and I haven't been outside much in my harness and leash either. sigh! It's not fair to those of us that like ot go outside.
ReplyDeleteYou two look really terrific in the sun. It sure does look like you are ready for your lunch. Hope all of you have a super Sunday.
ReplyDeleteI hope you manage to get in lots of Easy!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about having to stay in due to the heat. With my kidney stone issues all summer I have barely been out the entire summer :( hope it cools off for you soon!
ReplyDeleteWe're lucky ... we get to watch bird tv from the glassed in porch. No need to get all hot.... AC all the way.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.
hugs, Max, Bugsy, and Knuckles

We don't get the chance to enjoy the outdoors except from inside... which actually isn't too bad, considering that we can get some sun puddles AND air conditioning!
ReplyDeleteWe had some nice weather last week but we are back to cool and rainy. Sigh...
ReplyDeletePurrs,
The Chans
We think pretend sun is better than none at all!
ReplyDeleteOur summer did not start out very hot, but whoa - we are making up for lost time now! High today of 107!
ReplyDeleteWe love seeing you both on your deck. We hope you got something good for lunch.
ReplyDeleteWow you two look like THE GOLDEN KITTIES. !!!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great warm fur : )
Miss you both
Xox
We think our summer is over for this year - we've had 6 consecutive sunny days and a thunderstorm!
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Mommy said that if Ginger is caught, he will be let out to go to his home. No way will mom ever allow anything to happen to him. The raccoons will go to the other side of town. :-))) Kiss grandbaby for us
ReplyDelete*longing look* thunderstorms, huh??? *sigh* it was 106 here yesterday. Daddy actually went out to see if it truly WAS hot enuf to fry an egg (it didn't cook though).
ReplyDeleteWOW your coat looks amazing in the sun Simba! :)
ReplyDeleteOh!!! You kids look SOOOO beautifuls out there! Sorry the furless kitten can't get outside just now, but that kind of hots is prolly not good for the baby Humans.
ReplyDeleteIt's uber-hot here too. Gloman keeps turning the air conditioning down though so it practically feels like winter inside. I'm burrowing under the covers!
ReplyDeleteThe sun sure is pretty though....just like you!
: ) Katie
It looks hOT where you are. A baby? How sweet!
ReplyDeleteWe read your comment over at William's about Artsy Catsy. We had been quite worried about her too but a few months ago we found her on Facebook and she seems fine. I don't know if she intends to do any more blogging but she is okay and online again.
ReplyDeleteHi Kitties, I see your Mommy is off neglecting your bloggy again. Well, I guess we can't really blame her...for being so small and helpless, those hairless kittens really got a strong hold on the grown up Humans!
