Mom is visiting her granddaughter again for a little while. After 4 weeks away, she was amazed by how much she had grown and developed. Having been so small when she was born, she is just 8 1/2 lbs now, and many babies are that big when they are born. But for her she has gained so much, and looks comparatively "chunky" now. She is 11 weeks old already!
We gave Mom our permission to post some pictures of her here for you to see: check out that leg chunk!
Mom can tell she has gotten taller because her head now reaches up to the ears of her "Snuggabunny" seat: she looks like a little bunny rabbit herself here!
Such a cute human kitten!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cutie-patootie! Mommy agrees, she certainly does look bigger. Those thighs are MADE for nibblin'!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie. But Simba, I don't see a family resemblance?
ReplyDeleteI agree with Chey - she does not look like you or Audrey at all! She is still cute, though.
ReplyDeleteYour furless wee one is adorable!
ReplyDeleteShe's a beautiful little furless kit and growing fast.

How completely adorable..and also how pretty. Her expression in the top picture ( and I noticed it in others while you were there for that month) is precious with a little beginning smile.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing little fat wads on wee arms and legs. That's what I called them on my own kids when they were babies. Just ade for munchin'.
Regarding spell correct, I think it's our Mac's. Google doesn't for the blogs.
ReplyDeletesuch a cute baby. we bet you guys will got to play together after a couple of months

Awwwwwww, what a sweetie pie!!! The folks here have a new grandson and just in one week they were surprised by how much he was growing. enjoy each and every moment that you can have with your precious grandbean.
ReplyDeleteOh, thanks for stopping by and leaving the mom birthday wishes for her special day!
What a cutie!! I'm squeeing out loud. Babies are so dang adorable.
ReplyDeleteThe Human is all "SQUEE SQUEE SO CUTE" but me? Well, she's cute all right, but she'd look MUCH better with some FUR. (She does seem to be growing some on the tippy top of her head at least!!)
ReplyDeleteYes, Simba, it is really, truly true that I have never, never, EVER consumed even a single kitty treat. Over the 8 years of my life with the Human, she has purchase virtually every treat known to Humankind, including some ridiculously expensive one ordered from exotic boutiques. Nope, nope, and nope again.
ReplyDeleteThis is what happens: She brings out the bag or cylinder or jar and rattles it enticingly. Maybe I look up, maybe I don't.
She carefully extracts a treat and coos, "Come here, little Spitty, Mommy has a TREAT for you!" Sometimes I walk over, mostly I don't bother.
If I *do,* I sniff carefully at the object, nudge it with my nose, open my mouth and aaaaalllllmost taste it. Then I turn around and walk away.
Every single time. If she leaves a few in a dish for me, they are always still there at the end of the day.
So there you go.
That's quite a cute baby although of course not anywhere near as pretty as kittens - at least your baby has fur on her head which is an improvement on the bald ones.
