Audrey has a new favorite spot which is a nest in the middle of the coiled hose, so Dad puts a towel there for her.
So you may wish to know how we behaved when Mom got home on Thursday. Kitties, we blush to have to ay we did not hold out on her for even a minute! Of course Audrey likes everybody, so even if she did not recognize Mom after 7 weeks away, she would still have been friendly, but Simba is more cautious. But sure glad to have his Mama home!!
Awww, we're actually glad you didn't give your mom any hassles when she got home.
ReplyDeleteIt's been downright chilly here too for the past couple of days, but because we haven't any a/c in the house, it's been a welcome respite. The hots are coming back in another day or so, though!
Wow, we are jealous of your weather! It was 105 here yestday afternoon. It was still in the
ReplyDelete90's at 10pm!
Wow... can't believe it's that cold there. Glad you have the towels. And glad you have your momma home. I know that's great.
ReplyDeletepawhugs, Max
Of course you had to give your Mom lots of attention when she arrived home in case there were presents!
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Oh Simba and Audrey...fanks you for welcoming you mama home!!! She missed you too.
ReplyDeleteIt's OK you said 'hi' right away, I do the same thing when the PM is gone for a while. The towels look like they make the deck more comfey! PT
ReplyDeleteOh my, that cool sounds so wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWe're glad you gave your mom a warm welcome! We have realized how important it is to love on each other and not hold back.
ReplyDeleteYour dad is so good to you both by putting towels on your spots on the deck! It's been cold and rainy here but tomorrow we might see some sun! *paws crossed*
Thanks again for the post for our sisfur Sadie. We still can't believe she's gone but our hearts hurt all the time.
Purrs,
Angel & Isabella
We try to ignore our Humans when they come home too. It lasts about 30 seconds!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds nice and fresh where you are right now!
ReplyDeleteMy human was at BlogPaws for an extended weekend - nowhere near as long as your human was gone! When she got back, NOBODY greeted her, not even Binga. We had better things to do.
We can never hold out either. There's no shame in loving your Mom! Your Dad is a Good Egg, putting your towels exactly where you want them.
ReplyDeleteYou are both looking very fine!
ReplyDeleteReunions are just wonderful, aren' they?
Purrs,
The Chans
I'm glad your Mom is home and even gladder that it's gotten cooler. I got whiffies today. Would you believe after Pop was in hospital for a week, I didn't know who he was. Of course, that was the week after I adopted them.
ReplyDelete7 weeks?! Holy Cats that's a loooong time! Betcha had loads of fun out of mom lazer vision!

he he - she does look cold. WE had cool days too and loved it while it lasted. Going to be 90+ on Thursday. Icky!
ReplyDeleteThe weather sure has been wacky! We had the hots...then the cools, too. Now they say the hots are gonna come back. Sheesh! Make up your mind!!
ReplyDeleteWe're glad your mom is home!
Well, I guess your Mommy had a pretty good reason for 'bandoning you. Stilllll.....*7* weeks? That's a preety bad violation of the Human-Kitteh contract. Forgiveness is fine, as long as you make her pay and pay and pay: Treats on demand, new toys when you ask nicely, fudz served on the good china.
ReplyDeleteSimba, mommy paid for the lens repair and it was 116.00 so mommy still came out ahead. xox
