This past week was a super busy one for everybody but us. Last Sunday Dad flew out to spend some time with the new grandchild, and also the baby's uncle and auntie drove all the way (over 8 hours) to see her as well and to visit with all the family. It was a great reunion. The baby is one month old today! On May 30th, her actual due date, Mom took some pictures of her showing that she was now "born" with her "0" month old sticker on her onesie. (they didn't have the stickers called Picky Stickies when she was actually born). Here is one of them:

Dad is home now, and we have been very happy to see him again. Mom is going to stay a little longer helping with the baby, because her Mama has a hard time getting enough rest with so much time spent feeding a tiny one. They call it "sleep deprivation". Something none of us kitties know anything about, right?
Wow! One month already, time has no meaning to us kittehz, though. The wee one is looking great! We luf her kitteh sticker. xoxoxo

ReplyDeleteThere must be something in the water. Herbie's nemesis is 2 months old now. I guess you're glad this neme isn't living in your house. Normally I'm not fond of the hairless ones, but this one is kinda cute.
ReplyDeleteWe LOVE little beans!! We have a new great-nephew, Reed, born 5/16/2012. Mom got to babysit him on 5/24 for a couple of hours. We don't have any grandbeans yet, but maybe one of these days....
ReplyDeleteThat new grand bean is certainly a cutie. Now you better practice your avoidance moves because little beans love pulling tails if they find one. Not hard, but if you practice your moves, you can avoid the situation until they leave you alone.
