Not at All Wordless Wednesday

Mom said she would feel guilty if she just posted a picture for me today, since she has NOT been posting every day, and has been seeming to pick days when it is simple, like Easy Sunday, Wordless Wednesday, etc.

Here is a picture of me napping next to /"on" Audrey's "snuggler" - I really don't know WHAT its name is, but it is like a sleeping bag with a stiffened opening.     Audrey has not gone in it since she moved here, though the fabric is nice and soft.   I like to partly lie ON it, like I am doing here.  I like the feeling of the soft fabric, and I enjoy the fact that the humans have put it near one of my favorite napping corners.

It has been getting much colder here, and so if we DO go on the deck, it is only for a short while before our toes start to feel cold and we come back in.   Winter is HERE, kitties!

The humans have our Christmas tree up in the living room (mostly Dad's work) and we can see it through the french doors but we have not been in there yet.    The LR is "off limits" for cats most of the time.     Mom does not want a cat to barf on the rug or the sofas in there.     And most of the "very precious items" reside in there ('cause Audrey would chuck them off anywhere else in the house as soon as she became just the slightest bit hungry, which is one hour after she has had a good meal.   She even pushes the water spray bottle off the counter in the kitchen, the one Mom uses to keep her in line occasionally.    She is telling the humans "that's what I think of your SPRAY BOTTLE!")

  1. What is this "off limits" thing you speak of???

  2. Off limits? Spray bottle? Your mom is speaking a weird language we've never heard before. Simba, you look very handsome laying on Audrey's white snuggle thingy. We have something like that and we lay on it, not in it, too. We're glad you stay nice and warm inside!

  3. Go Audrey! And when we asked Ă„iti to tell us what 'off limits' meant we just laughed and laughed. How can such a thing exist ?!

  4. Wow, Audrey is one brave kitty to mess with the spray bottle. Even Melly doesn't do that!

  5. It is Not Right to have spaces in the Kitty's house where the Kitty is not allowed to be.

What's wrong with your Pawrents? Didn't they attend the training?

I think they will need to go to Re-education Camp.

  8. Gosh, sure am glad we don't have a clue what 'off limits' means. We just do what ever we want. Mom gave up many years ago on having anything nice. But I am sure you have plenty of places to snuggle and snooze. Don't forget, Santa is watching you. Take care.

  9. Audrey sounds like our Nicki. Ha.

We really don't know what "off limits" is either, except we're not allowed up on the dining table or counters when the mom's around. Other that that, it's fair game. And there's nothing of value or quality in our house anyway. :-P

As for posting every day...It's overrated. LOL. Really, we think it's better to post when you want to than to feel obliged to do it. Sometimes our mom thinks about stopping to blog for us (gasp!), because she feels obliged to try and keep up with everyone and it's impossible. But usually a few days off does the trick. :-)

  10. Audrey - we love your spirit when you push the spray bottle off the work top - we think the only better idea would be to give the humans a spray on their noses!!

ps Don't even consider our suggestion until after Christmas!

  11. We have one of those "thingies" too, Simba, and we've never made much of use o it either...

Our Christmas tree is now in the living room and we are planning to decorate later today!

  15. It's okay Audrey. I used to be the same way.... I liked clean counters and what I mean by clean is nothing on them at all. Tables too... had to be clear of stuff.... The boys, though. They tolerate stuff just fine.

    Have a great day.

    pawhugs, Max

  16. We dont know what the 'off limits' stuff is either. Mom keeps two bedroom doors closed but when she is in there we can go inside. But she likes to keep us generally out of both of them, except Boo. Boo can stay in the master bedroom as she likes to be away from all of us, although we don't know why she doesn't like to be with us? I mean all we do is chase her.
    What's not to like???

...would like to respectfully request a photo of Simba and Audrey in front of the Christmas tree. In the "off limits" zone.

  19. Simba, have you tried to see what may be hiding inside? I bet it's snuggly warm. So Audry has cattitude knocking the spray bottle off the counter. I don't blame her, what's with the spray bottle anyhow. We kitties don't like water. We just have 2 tiny trees and no temptations here. Keep your little toeses warm, Simba.
