Mom was trying to explain to me that Easter really isn't about the Easter Bunny at all. It is about the Resurrection of Jesus. I didn't understand so she asked me to remember last August when we had some caterpillars that turned into butterflies. She said that might help me understand, and I think it does. Anyway, it helps HER understand.
Have a wonderful Easter, everybody!
So, Mom, what's the deal with the bunny?
Well, Simba, I think it is because springtime and Easter make us think of New Birth, baby bunnies, baby chickies and so on.
But Mom, the caterpillars were in AUGUST!
Hammy Easter to you too!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter to you and your family Simba! We don't understand the caterpillar thing either but our mommy did so maybe it's a human thing. We say bring on the bunnies!

ReplyDeleteOh oh... my head is spinning and I especially don't understand how E. Bunny got hooked up with the eggs... Seems like it should be an Easter Chicken.
