Looking down from our front door:
Our Kwanzaan Cherry Tree, which is supposed to be full of blooms in a couple of weeks' time:Can you see the bird feeder to the left, covered in snow? dad will have to go and brush it off for the birdies. This is part of the maple tree right off our deck, the one the Hawk sat in. If you look carefully you can see the reddish leaf buds under the snow. Boy, I bet THEY were surprised!
OH MY COD! LOOK at that! Not good at ALL!!!

Maybe we should stop complaining about our two weeks of rain, at least it's not snow! Hang in these Simba.
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, that is terrible. Mother Nature sure wasn't kind to you folks. The poor little sprigs of Spring are thoroughly confused now.Hope it goes away soon.
ReplyDeleteMeowza, sweet Simba, we think you need to come and spend some time with us.......Spring is definitely here....and you may call it Summer. Our a/c kicks in almost every day....we are enjoying some window whiffs this morning, but are sure that before long the a/c will kick in and the windows and door will get closed....sigh.

Oh, Simba, we feel for you. We missed the snow that fell west of us, but it's COLD. Freezing, in fact.
ReplyDeleteWe hope you get your spring soon -- and that we do too!

That is not spring. I don't know much about weather but that is most definitely not spring. I would send it back and complain.
ReplyDeleteBut it does make beautiful photographs.

ReplyDeleteWe hope it thaws soon and you get a lovely (if late) spring.

ReplyDeleteWe still can't believe we are having close to 90 degree weather here and it's snowing there! Our cold front tomorrow drops the temperature down to only 70 degrees (then it goes right back up into the 80's)...it continuously amazes me ... Mother Nature.
