We have continued to feel down about the tsunami in Japan and not inspired to write a post.
But tomorrow is Wordy Wednesday, so I thought I should post something in between. I do have my Word and picture for tomorrow already!
No, this picture is not from now. It is from last summer, but I am already dreaming about warmer weather and lying on my towel on the deck. When I can do that, I feel life is very very good. C'mon warm weather! Do you think I look dreamy in this photo (in more ways than one, Mom says)?
Simba, it *is* a very difficult time, globally. Just keep in mind that one more sad/depressed/sick/upset kitty or human doesn't help the state of the planet. There's a real balance to practicing Compassion yet not letting suffering overwhelm you. The mom hasn't figured this one out yet, though.

You look dreamy indeed!
ReplyDeleteI've been having an incredibly stressful few months and haven't been feeling too great, but there is nothing like a natural disaster to put life in perspective. There is so much tragedy in the world.
Simba, you are so handsome that you always look dreamy to me. *BLUSH*
ReplyDeleteYou do look dreamy and I have to admit I am dreamy too!
ReplyDeleteWe are dreaming about warmer weather too - a good roll round in the dirt does wonders for us!!
ReplyDeleteluv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
You look dreamy but let's just face it, you're a dreamboat, Simba.

We think you look pretty handsome there, Simba!! And it made our mom smile which is important when there's so much sadness going on....
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely dreamy picture of you Simba.
ReplyDeleteWe dream of you Simba! We're very sad about the news from Japan too. Mommy got all leaky after she saw a lady in a shelter with her kitty and news of a doggy found wandering around where his home used to be. It's just so sad over there and we're sending them all lots of purrs.
ReplyDeleteI'm already seeing some flowers through my window!
ReplyDeleteDon't be too sad Simba and Mom...
ReplyDeleteThat is such a handsome photo of you, Simba!
