Can you believe it, I have never experienced catgrass before today. My parents really have been depriving me. About 2 weeks ago, my Dad bought some seeds for growing catgrass at PetSmart. And today was the big day when he presented it to me. I dove right into it and would have consumed the whole lot in one sitting if they had not dragged me away, wanting to first see how my digestion holds up to it. One good thing is that Dad only had to use a small % of the seeds to grow this batch, so I have a chance of getting it on a regular basis if I don't hack it back up all over everything. And I hafta say, this REAL Green Stuff is way better than "Greenies" treats. What is your opinion of the stuff? Have you ever had it? Do you eat it regularly?
Simba, we LOVE our catgrass! Our Mom buys a container of it each week at our local farmer's market. (it's two dollars) We wait for her to come home from the market every Saturday morning and as soon as she puts the new container down, we dive right in like little cows. We rarely vomit it up. It's delicious! xoxo

ReplyDeleteYou are lucky to get cat grass. We have had it and we pull it up from the roots so it dies. We have not had it again...

ReplyDeleteIt was very nice of your dad to grow you some grass! We've had cat grass a couple of times and it's really good! We never hacked it up either but once we see the dirts, we like to get it out of the pot and mommy doesn't like that.

ReplyDeleteWe love the cat grass!! So much so, that we pull it out of the container and make a big mess with it all over! That's why we don't get it much anymore....RATS!!
ReplyDeleteCat grass it the best! If the humans don't provide it, lettuce leaves, broccoli, peas or anything green does the trick too... but cat grass rules.
