Indignant
I am turning my back for a reason. I am very mad. Today in the mail we received our 2010 US Census form. It said "Resident" and our address. Yet when Dad looked over the form, he said there was no place to list cats and dogs or other pets. Unbelievable. I am just as much a "resident" here as Mom and Dad are. Cat bloggers should start their own Census!
In other news, Mom has been cutting off pieces of the cat grass for me and I am eating them, either out of her hand, or from the floor. So far, so good as far as any upchucking is concerned - it seems I am digesting it just fine.

Dear Simba,
ReplyDeleteMy Mom says that if the Census counted us as "residents," that might also mean our Moms and Dads would be entitled to claim us as "dependents" on their taxes. So the government has a financial interest in not keeping track of us.
Love, Audrey (who would account for quite a few itemized deductions)
We got ours too. I shall have to insist the Male list us.
ReplyDeleteGood plan...where it asks to list children, I'm going to insist we are listed!
ReplyDeleteYou are quite right to be indignant, Simba. How rude!
ReplyDeleteOh Simba, Mommy listed Rosie as head of the household because she is the oldest one living here.
ReplyDeleteSo true!! Kitty bloggers should start their own Census!!! Yes, we can change!
ReplyDeleteThat is very rude, I will have to look at our census. Couple extra questions, thats all it would have took!
ReplyDelete:gasp: Well we fink it's outrageous NOT having us on the census!
