Second, here is my selfie for today and you will notice it is just a PARTIAL selfie. But I wanted to post one taken in the family room with the paneled walls. because, kitties (hold your breath, now), Dad has started to PAINT those walls a lighter color! It is likely to be a torturously long process, because first the wood needs to be sealed with a primer, and then it will need at least two coasts of paint over that. So don't hold your breath, but one day in the not too distant future, I will show you the result!!
In other news, we recently switched to Precious Cat litter in the blue bag and it is SO much less dusty than my previous Fresh Step. I would even venture to say that it is dust free. Now why can't all litter be like that? So much better for everybody's lungs.

Is that litter highly scented? Looking for something scent-free, as little dust as possible, and with superior clumping ability!
Precious Cat litter is not scented and is the most dust free clay litter we've found. It clumps really well. Now if they would only make a litter that didn't track, we'd be even more happy!

DeleteThat's a great selfie, Simba. The thing about selfies is that they're suppose to be fun...not purrfect. :) Our peeps painted paneling too...and it came out great. We love Dr. Elsey's litter. It's the best litter we've found.

ReplyDeleteWe have recycled paper litter, not too dusty but we are allowed outside so maybe the dust isn't an issue because of that, for us?

After I got sick on that other litter, we switched to Precious Cat too. The only thing TW doesn’t like is that my pees stick to the side of the box and she has the darndest time scooping them out. She thinks that may be more the box than the litter.

I love Precious Cat as I had said at the time you were asking us all. No dust for Katie, for me and no more gray film all over the kitchen. I would have the kitchen door open with just the storm door closed and see VAST clouds of dust rising up no matter how I tried to keep it down. And scooping the box was also an extremely dusty time and who knows what microorganisms were released into the air there!
