Mom 'N Me
Although I occasionally put the bitey on her, I do love my Mom. I am not a lap cat, but sometimes I really like to be held and walked around the house, purring and purring. I will reach my front legs up and Mom will lift me under my armpits to her shoulder. She does a funny swing-around thing with my back legs, so I end up with one arm on her shoulder, one arm in front, and my back legs in front and sideways.

Yes, a lot of it is floor. I am not as heavy as I look, though Mom does get tired after a while and puts me down. Sometimes she sings and dances with me. Silly!

I prefer being carried around in the "football hold" - held under one arm like a football! My favorite hold.

Simba, you are such a super sweet Mancat! My mommy picks me up when I lift my front paws too but I like to hang over her shoulder facing behind her so she can scritch and scritch and scritch my back with her claws. She loves it as much as I do!

ReplyDeleteThat is so freaking adorable, says the Human. *I* say, You're making me look bad, Bud. My Human would pay good money if I would do that. She took picks me up, and I do one of two things: Fight like a demon from hell to get away; or hang limply but on high alert looking for my first opportunity to leap away. I *NEVER* do what you do. My Human would simply die of pure joy. But, NO, I don't think so.
