Rest in Peace, Austin

Another one of Karen Jo's kitties, Austin, has run off very unexpectedly to the Rainbow Bridge.     He was still very young, and something happened to him after a totally normal and good day.  Please go and leave her and Austin's furry siblings some purrs.  Here is the link to their blog.

  1. I was sad to read this earlier today. It is awesome that Karen Jo adopts these wonderful FeLV kitties, but so often they leave way too soon. :-(

  2. They do leave her too soon, though in Austin's case, it sounds like it might not have been related to that. Or at least, any Being could have an undetected heart condition, regardless of other health issues.

But it's so sad, especially for Rocio. We, too, are glad he has the others for companionship.

  7. We were over at Karen Jo's earlier to give our condolences. So sad that Austin left this world way before his time.

  12. WE have been over to visit Karen Jo. Poor thing, she has had way too much sadness lately. Sorry I haven't been to visit, but the auction has been keeping the Person really busy. Hope you have a great Sunday.
