Our catnip plant has really benefited from the recent weather - look at how lush it is! We will sniff at the plant, but really like it if Mom or Dad will break off a piece for us and crush it a little to release the catnip smells. Here each of us show how we are WAITING for somebody to do that.
It took a while, but once Mom had her photos of us by the plant, she finally gave us each a piece. HEAVEN! Thanks, Mom!
WOW! A deck NipFest looks totally amazing!!!
ReplyDeleteYou two make me wish I had made mommy plant ME some! All she had out there was lemon balm and pappermint. I got left behind the door!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to pack my little bag and head your way.
Yep... looks like you really love that plant. I like the sun puddle too.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.
pawhugs, Max
Nip and a sun puddle - can we come and visit today please?
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
That is one gorgeous catnip plant. It looks very lush and nice. Bet there were some really good smells from it. Have a really fun week end with your Nip. Take care.
ReplyDeleteI am glad you finally got some and the wait is over!
ReplyDeleteZowie - I'm running over to your house. You'll be rolling in the nip all winter.
ReplyDeleteYour Nip plant looks awesome!!! YOur Mom person must have a very green thumb, MOL.
ReplyDeleteLook at all that fresh nip! It looks pawsome!
ReplyDeleteWe saw your comment on the Katnip Lounge about the raised bowl. We have a raised one like this: http://www.etsy.com/listing/78110590/white-elevated-cat-bowl-feeder-3-tall
It's just our height!
oooohhh, fresh nip! Daddy snags us and rubs it on our gums, and we get all silly!
ReplyDeleteDaddy built our raised feeders for two reasons; one was for KonaKitty and her arthritic hips--she finds it easier to eat, and the second reason is we are little piggies (Mommy's words, not ours) when we eat our wet food, flinging it all over the floor and walls. Mommy clips towels to our feeding "troughs" (ANOTHER swine reference, she will pay)which she can brush the dried gribbly bits off of and toss in the washing machine. They were easy to make, and are sealed with polyurethane so they can be wiped down when they need it.
Looks like it was well worth the wait. Great pictures! hugs and nose kisses
ReplyDeleteI see you two were waiting... but not patiently!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a lot of fun. Mom Paula says I'm too young for the nip.
ReplyDeleteTruffle

ReplyDeleteOh what a glorious photo that last shot is!
ReplyDeleteMy Human grew me a nip plant from seeds and it turned into a nice big lush plant...and then I totally lost interest, ha ha ha ha ha!
Talk about "fun in the sun"! You really know how to do it! Enjoy. xoxo
ReplyDeleteWhat a plant. That is magnificent - ours only live one season so never get like that. And Ă„iti just wants to tickle Audrey's tummy as it is so gorgeous. Or so she says.

I too won't touch my nip plant until TW gives me some. I don't like the green nip, only the brown, crinkly leaves. My plant is almost dead now.
