The fact of the matter is that Floof can be a disadvantage, especially when the weather gets hot. We had some hot-for-us weather this weekend (although nothing like our New Mexico and Arizona friends), and I found my own way to try to cool off, in spite of all my fur.
A front came through and brought cool weather (we even had a tornado warning), so today forecast is much better: almost more like late September!
So we used A/C for about 48 hours and now the windows are open again.
Does your mom ever trim your floof? Mine did and I complained so much that she never did again.

ReplyDeleteNo, no - not unless it is the only way to get a fur mat out. Though Dad suggested it over the weekend to cool me off. Mom would like it if I would be willing to be furminated, but I am very selective about what "parts" can be brushed.
Great position, Simba.....Andy says that's his favoritest position in the summer also. xxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteYes, floof is very warming I think.
ReplyDeletehaha look at you all splayed out like that.
ReplyDeleteYes, floof can be a disadvantage.
ReplyDeleteMy Daddy trims my pantaloons for "hygeine" reasons but never anyting else...thank Cod.
Keep nice and cool this week Simba. No problems with the cools down here, we have had the chilly rain for weeks.

Sorry the weather has been so hot, but we do like that tummy shot, Simba!
ReplyDeleteFloof is good in the winter, but now that is summer, it is hot! Enjoy the cool weather.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Simba! Yes, it definitely looks like a Pterophorus pentadactyla (white plumed moth) although we rather liked the fairy theory...
ReplyDeleteOH MY look at that tummy!
ReplyDelete*squeeeeeeeeeeeee*
We can understand why your floofiness would be on the warm side...especially with all this HOT weather...
Stay cool!

You still look like a cool dude in spite of the heat, Simba! Glad it cooled off there.
ReplyDeleteYou are handsome in your floof but we're sure it's very hot too. We're glad you got some cooler weather and hope it sticks around for awhile!
ReplyDeleteFind the cold air blowy thing!
ReplyDeleteAt least it's a dry heat here!
ReplyDeleteWe're in the process of refloofing for winter... we'd be happy to take some if you have extra!
