Thankful Thursday

Today Mom's little Grandbean is 2 weeks old.      We all (even us cats!) are SO thankful for her little life.     Her Mommy had a very tough pregnancy and was on bed rest for many many weeks, and the little girlie might have been born way too soon and way too tiny.  As it was, she was 4 weeks early but she timed it just right for her Mommy to give birth to her before she grew any bigger.     She is getting a lot better from her jaundice and she has started to gain more weight.     So there is lots and lots to be thankful for.  And Mom says she is SO CUTE!!  Of course she is a little bit biased.   Oh, and she looks much more like her Daddy than any of us.    Except for the little bit of leftover orinj color.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to everybody everywhere.    We ALL have mothers, every single human and animal, and can celebrate the wonder of all mothers today, those who are still with us and those who are no longer here.     And we can celebrate all Daddies as well, because without them, the mommies would not be mothers!!!

Mom is having a tiring but wonderful Mothers Day because she gets to spend it with her daughter and her new granddaughter.     And that is the BEST.

Things are busy and there is lots for Mommy Daddy and Gran to do to keep up with this little miss.   We are trying to read as many blog posts as possible, but not a lot of posting or commenting for now.

Face Time

Come on, Dad, its time to do Face Time with Mom and the new baby!   Face Time is the new video calling function of the Mac Lion operating system. similar to video Skype.   It has been great for communicating between Dad and the new little family.    It is also helping Mom to save some of her cellphone minutes!  

Dad is looking forward to having a chance to travel and actually see the new baby.    She is a little orange from jaundice, so I thought I would look jaundiced in sympathy.    We didn't adjust this photo - my color under the lamp by the computer is always orinj in pictures - even more than my real orinjness.

In Dedication to Fin

We want to dedicate our post today to our sweet friend, Fin, who left for the Rainbow Bridge on Tuesday.  Her Mom. Meg,  and her Dad will miss her very much, as will we all.

Finny de Floof, run free and play like the kitten you are at heart.  We will meet again one day.

Tummy Tuesday

The Tabbies are posting about their tummies today over at the Tabby Cat Club Blog, so we are going to show you our tummies here too!   Mom, who does our posting, didn't bring a lot of pictures of us on her computer when she went to the new baby's birth, but we do have some tummy shots!   Sorry that the one of Audrey is a bit PG.

Easy on Sunday

We're just here with "Grandpa" now, taking it easy this Sunday.      Our Mom is still with the new little family.    The new baby and her Mom are home, and now she just has to feed and grow well, because she was quite a tiny thing, even though her picture we posted makes her look quite big.     She was only 5 lbs and 1 ounce.   Gosh, both of us are more than DOUBLE that!!
